The Friends of the Cranberry Public Library are collecting gently used books. Donations can be dropped off at the library circulation desk during normal library hours. Please do not leave books in the outdoor book return bin. Adult, teen and children’s books, both hardcover and paperbacks are welcome, if in good condition. Intake and processing of donated items takes a significant amount of staff time. As such, no more than 4 boxes/bags of donated items will be accepted at any one time by a person/group.
The following items will not be accepted as donations:
VHS or Cassette tapes
Sacred texts of any religion
Toys, puzzles, stuffed animals
Readers Digest Condensed Editions
National Geographic magazines
Items in poor condition
Computer equipment, hardware, and software
If you would like a tax receipt, please count the number of hardcover, paperback, CD's and other materials before bringing your donations to the circulation desk where you will receive your receipt.
