The Township’s mission to reduce, reuse, and recycle also includes the very carts that hold those items.
However, even the best carts eventually need replaced, leading the Board of Supervisors to purchase new recycling and yard waste carts from Rehrig Pacific Company Inc. Carts are replaced on a rotating schedule based upon years of use.
The majority of the purchase cost is covered by a Department of Environmental Protection grant.
